Town of Rochester Community Preservation Fund
The Community Preservation Fund (CPF) is a tool created by New York State law that allows certain towns to establish a dedicated, reliable source of funding for protecting community character. The Town of Rochester is proposing this with NO additional tax burden for town residents.
Town Proposition 2 will create a dedicated Community Preservation Fund (CPF) to help preserve the Town of Rochester’s resources, natural beauty and quality of life for future generations, so our children and grandchildren can enjoy the town the same way we do.
Approving Town Proposition 2 will help protect clean water, working farms, open spaces, wildlife habitat and historic places in the Town of Rochester.
Town Proposition 2 is one of two town referendums on November 4th that require voter approval to take effect. Vote Yes for the future of the Town of Rochester!
